Tech Tycoon’s Youth Quest Turns Troublesome
Billionaire tech entrepreneur Bryan Johnson, renowned for his anti-aging mission, faced a severe setback while experimenting with an unconventional procedure to reverse the effects of aging. The 46-year-old, who has spent millions on his "Blueprint Stack" to halt his biological clock, encountered a major health scare at the age of 47.
Johnson attempted to inject fat derived from a baby donor into his face, branding it as a "second alternative to mother's milk." However, just 30 minutes after the procedure, alarming complications arose. His face and eyes swelled significantly, leading to temporary vision loss. Johnson’s team quickly identified the adverse reaction, and he described the experience as painful and distressing.
Despite the ordeal, Johnson's face returned to normal after seven days, as he shared through Instagram, including unsettling images of the swelling. Reflecting on the incident, he admitted the experience was a harsh reminder of the risks associated with experimental anti-aging efforts.
Johnson further explained that during his "Blueprint" project, his extreme calorie restrictions led to substantial fat loss in his body, particularly in his face. To compensate, he opted for the fat injection procedure, which triggered the severe allergic-like reaction.
While his ambitious anti-aging project has garnered attention for its innovation, Johnson’s latest misstep underscores the challenges and unpredictability of pushing the boundaries of science in pursuit of youth.
